South Again – Day 19

A walk in the gardens of Oamaru.

I can’t believe they have 12 grass tennis courts here, must be a lot of upkeep.

We headed up to Timaru to see old friends Judd, Jenny and Graham. A great lunch and an afternoon of lively conversation and, we must admit, a little gossip. The garden was in the English style and has been a long time in the making. We won’t be able to achieve anything as nice in our paddocks but we’ll work on it.

We were a bit late getting away so stopped at the large holiday camp in Tekapo.

Good to be in McKenzie country again with the late afternoon sunshine.
