We slept in today and mooched around the house until lunchtime. Later on Vicky, Ana and I went for a walk and decided to explore Mātakitaki Lane which runs off the main road opposite the Sports and Rugby Club.
Mātakitaki pā has a bloody history being one of the sites of a major battle during the Musket Wars. You can read all about it here:
